Inside the new Seaview Street shop offering exotic houseplants and stunning handmade bouquets

A new shop offering countless exotic houseplants, lovingly made floral bouquets and pretty home décor has opened in Cleethorpes.

Situated at 22 Seaview Street, Stem&Co is the brainchild of trained florist, Sam Rodwell, who says opening the shop permanently is her "dream".

In a post to Facebook, Sam announced her stunning new signage and the signing of a permanent lease at the shop, which offers an array of one-of-a-kind, homemade products to the people of Cleethorpes, as well as houseplant galore.

She wrote: "It’s always been a dream to have a shop on Seaview Street and here it is. The signage is up, I’ve signed a big girls lease and I’m here to stay.

"Rolling the shutters up each morning brings me utter joy. I hope you like visiting and talking plants & flowers as I certainly do! Thank you all that walk through the door and support small independent business in our town."

Staff member Nina Smith told Grimsby Live: "It's all unique, handmade products and the shop offers something different, celebrates local people and supports small, local businesses.

"There's been an amazing response from customers, and I think people love the fact it's something different on Seaview Street and not just your average bar. It looks great outside and invites people in."

The shop also stocks home décor like wall prints and hand-painted plant pots, as well as homemade plant food that customers can dispense themselves into a container.

Customers can also book onto a variety of workshops held inside the shop, from watercolour painting and terrarium making to yoga and mindfulness classes.

Stem&Co is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and on Sundays from 11am to 3pm. You can like Stem&Co on Facebook here.
